Well, this afternoon I finished Duma Key. I would rate this book (drum roll please!) 5 out of 5! It was awesome. It had a good ending that didn't leave me hanging and it kept me glued to the pages the whole time! I would suggest this book for sure. But mostly to anyone over 16. It has quite a lot of F bombs and what not. Still an amazing book. If they made a movie I would be so happy!

School Reading....
It's something we all must do. But honestly where do they find these books?? Lord of the flies? Beowulf?? A Raisin in the Sun??? They all FAIL. What do they have to do with anything. I don't see why they don't pick something that will actually teach us something useful. I mean I guess those books teach us some sort of morals but there not all that great. Which brings me to my point. I'm hoping my current school read is good. It sounds good except for the woman talking sort of sounds like this: "Ah'm glad tah be back heah whar I cun be happah" Like what the heck?! And the love of her life's name is Tea cake. Yeahh, Idk. The book is called Their Eyes Where Watching God. I'll let you know how it is. I still have yet to finish Duma Key. I've gotten distracted and completely forgot about poor old Wireman!!! How dare myself.=]

Review: Bad Girls Don't Die
By: Katie Alender My Grade: A Pages: 346 Alexis thought she led a typically dysfunctional high school existence. Dysfunctional like her parents’ marriage; her doll-crazy thirteen-year-old sister, Kasey; and even her own anti-social, anti-cheerleader attitude. When a family fight results in some tearful sisterly bonding, Alexis realizes that her life is creeping from dysfunction into danger. Kasey is acting stranger than ever: her blue eyes go green sometimes; she uses old-fashioned language; and she even loses track of chunks of time, claiming to know nothing about her strange behavior. Their old house is changing, too. Doors open and close by themselves; water boils on the unlit stove; and an unplugged air conditioner turns the house cold enough to see their breath in. Alexis wants to think that it’s all in her head, but soon, what she liked to think of as silly parlor tricks are becoming life-threatening–to her, her family, and to her budding relationship with the student council VP. Alexis knows she’s the only person who can stop Kasey — but what if that green-eyed girl isn’t even Kasey anymore? My Opinion: This book was an easy read. Its full of suspense and keeps you reading until the end. It's almost creepy at some points but it's the kind of creepy that keeps your attention. If you believe in the whole paronormal thing this really is a book for you. The storyline was awesome, there was some romance to the book and the ending was almost expected but still good.

A dedication to the love of books!
This blog is going to be all about books. Reviews, suggestions, wanted books and all of the above! I hope you enjoy it. If you don't understand the title I suggest you read Stephen King's "Duma Key." It's an awesome book. I'm not quite finished yet but I'm halfway through and already in love with it. I fell in love with most of the characters the second I learned about them and it's full of suspense. If you haven't read any Stephen King yet your missing out. He is an amazing writer. I suggest you read Duma Key, Pet Sematary, The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon or IT. I haven't read IT yet but I've been told it's an awesome but eerie book. Well, stay tuned for my first book review and everything else. Will you like it? Maybe si, maybe no. Haha, you'll understand that if you read Duma Key. Anyways, enjoy my upcoming blog post!
